Default One brake light not working

I need some help with my 2001 Ranger. The driver side brake/turn signal is not working. I have done everything I can think of. The bulb is good. I moved the bulb housing to the passenger side and it works great. The parking lights work on both sides. I tested the major female port and it is receiving the required 12 volts just like the other side but still no brake or turn signal light. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
