Are all three pf those bulbs you tried are they brand new? If not, then maybe those bulbs low beam are blown. I would get yourself some HIDs and leave it as one single beam. HIDs are in fact better than Halogen and last longer than Halogen bulbs. I actually sell them so if you want a kit hit me up. I'll be glad to help you out.

I have HID's and I love them. But seriously, you're trying to sell him HID's to remedy a $1 blown fuse. That's not right.

All he said was that his left low beam wasn't working. Your suggestion was "Buy some HID's from me". If I said my truck died and the gas gauge reads empty, would you suggest I buy a programmer to add more power??

No. I doubt there is a fuse in the ballast. I was refering the fuse in the fuse panel for the left low beam. If you are blowing that fuse, you need to first check your wiring to the ballast. It is FAR more likely that your wiring is hosed and has a short. If your wiring doesn't have any faults, than the ballast is just a POS and fried. You have no choice but to replace it.

Nope buy a new truck lol. I didn't really know the problem but one of my friends his low beam was out and it was in fact his ballast and I sold him a new ballast. But Drew's problem is probably different than my friend. But when he explained his problem, that's the first thing that popped in my mind.

I agree given his further explanation that it is probably either a faulty ballast or a problem in his wiring. But you suggested he buy all this new stuff from you before even troubleshooting the slightest bit. You don't buy replacement parts until you know which part needs replacing. I'm sure you're eager to make sales, but that's not a good way to drum up business.

No I'm not in no way eager to make a quick buck or try to rip him off. I guess I put my words in different and should of said could be a ballast trouble instead of buy a ballast. My bad my bad.
