when i bought my truck someone had the wrong fuse for the radio/wipers/signals and they burnt out twice before i realized what was going on.
He already said that he checked them. If it was fuses it would not do anything when he wiggled the wires.

If it looks like your wires got hot, there is something shorting somewhere, or too much current being drawn for the wires to handle. Both should be stopped by a fuse, but you said all your fuses were good. First, check that there isnt a 25A fuse in a 15A fuse slot etc.
That, i'm willing to bet will not be a permanent fix. You should also check your wiring harness for shorting in the connection to the radio. Once you have that fixed, it should not be a problem anymore.
