Question about PATS
Hello to all,
I'm getting ready to put a 2008 4.0 SOHC in my 2004 Ranger with a 3.0 OHV. (I have the doner vehicle, so, getting the parts isn't a problem)
I know what my options are, but I don't know what the easiest and cheapest route would be.
I know that I either have to put the 2008 ignition on my truck or take my truck to a dealership and have my keys re-programmed.(How much does that usually cost) How hard is it to take a Ford Ranger ignition off? Does this require any special tools?
One other thing ... The 2008 Ranger doesn't have cruise control.
Would that cause any problems or is that something separate from the ECM?
