Default Multi function switch

My MFS is taking a crap. The wipers will not now turn off after using them for part of the day. How difficult is it to change it out? Do i need to remove the wheel?

Dont need to remove wheel it is pretty simple

remove the cover over and under the steering column and then the rest is pretty self explanatory

I think you just have to remove the housing behind the wheel and you should be able to swap the whole lever out once the steering column cover is off. I'll look into it for you some more

Ha ha reminds me of My 87 BII. Did the same thing with the wipers. I replaced the switch and it worked for awhile, but went out again. Luckily I could reach the fuse panel while driving, and would just put the fuse in when it rained, and pull it out when it stopped. lol, the good old days.
