Default Does Ford? Include stuff but not connect it?

So I'm in the process of adding the aftermarket keyless lock/unlock kit.
When what do I find?
Another day older and deeper in dept.
There is already a wire leading to each of the front door locks. nonfunctioning.

I continue drilling the two holes.
Thread the new wires through the door jam.
Connect the new lock motor to the up/down lock/unlock rod.
Still thinking about those wires.

Does Ford routinely add things of lesser importance and not implement them with the proper switch panel and labeling and owner's manual entry?
Junk the corporate philosophy, I keep thinking all I need is the proper switches and the door locks are all ready to go without buying new ones.

I recall a thread about cruise control illumination not working in some cars, bulbs in place but simply don't work because the wire was not run to their connector. I'm thinking this might happen for reasons beyond our understanding (like cars were made on the day before a holiday) and we're not figuring out these accessories properly and how they are marketed. Or perhaps the powers that be meant to include the accessory but had troubles so left part of it in place without fixing it, or and didn't want to mess with all the fuss of switches/labels to advertise it as a feature?

Anyone else had a psychedelic accessory wet dream like my door lock experience and know more about this unimplemented accessory bit? Anyone work for Ford manufacturing who can spill the beans or spy for us, our inspection girl on the inside? Now's the time to fess up, come clean, claim your prize.

I need to decide whether to ignore reverse engineering the factory feature or continue installing the kit I bought.

Or he gets high off his own hot air. It's certainly potent enough to cause brain damage.

I wonder how the factory supercharger fits in there along with the turbo he claims to have? Maybe since he has his imaginary torsion bars cranked, it made more room under the engine?

On my 2003 XL it was wired for fog lights at the bumper.
On my 2005 it has connectors for power mirrors.

From my understanding ford uses one wire harness to keep cost to a minimal.

As far as a 1987 Ford Ranger having a supercharger from the factory.

He may be telling the truth about the supercharger. Mine came with a connector which I found out last year was for turbines. That's what that 'vent' looking thing on the dash is; a cover for the secret button that activates turbines.

So is mine, but nothing for them (from what I can find) inside the cabin.
