After fender bender, no instrument panel lights

Hello All, I have a 2004 ford ranger.

I had a fender bender that took out my right side headlight. The instant of the crash, my speedo and tach lights went dark. I have been driving around now for a while with no dash lights.

Today I went to pep boys and picked up some fuses, and replaced the fuse that controls the instrument panel dimmer (the only fuse that was burned out). The fuse was burned out, but after replacing it, the lights are still dead.

Anybody have any ideas? I don't think the under dash power distribution box would have anything to do with this, because the only symptom is that the green dash lights are dead, and the aux cigar lighter is dead.

I am afraid that the lights themselves may be burned out, and I am not looking forward to pulling the dash out.

I have one working cigar lighter, the red lights on the dash (abs, batt, etc) are working, the headlights work, turn signals, brakes, emergency flashers, interior dome light, everything works fine.

No one is making you drive a ranger.

You can definitely sell it, and get something else, we don't want an ******* like you here anyway.

If people don't know an answer, they are not going to post. Also, you posted right around Thanksgiving. People have life's, travel, and family that take priority.

Ever think maybe its the driver and not the vehicle? I am sorry no one helped you but maybe if you took a minute to do some searching yourself you would have found there are multiple threads and how to's on taking out the instrument cluster and changing bulbs etc. If you dont liek the truck get rid of it! but something tells me you will behave the same way no matter what you get.
