96 xlt, my odo quit working, wondering if anyone has any ideas, speedo is fine.. just no odo... before it quit the trip odometer was finikiy for a long time had to hit the reset button a few times to get it to work.. then one day it just quit... any help is appreciated..

mine went at 96000 speedo fine just odm wierd my tbird did it at 46000 its a ford thang

if your speedo works, then the plastic gear inside the odometer probably broke. only way to fix is get another odometer or cluster.

The same thing happend to me as the original poster and I was wondering were I can get the odometer or cluster? Do I need to go to a junk yard?
