After a snowfall the other night I started my engine to warm it up without realising the wiper blades were frozen and the switch was in the on position. After they broke lose the wipers went to the vertical park position and stuck there. It is a 1987 model with a circuit breaker no fuse.

How do I check the circuit breaker ?
I have not been able to get to a parts store as the roads still snow bound was hoping for some advice what to check while waiting
