Default fog light switch

alright i got an explorer radio bezel and i would like to hook up my kc's to the second fog switch i put in where the rear defroster was. They are 140 watts altogether. Can the factory switch handle it? What wires do i need to run where? There are four of them

The diagrams on that page are correct. You can not run the lights directly with the switch. You have to use a relay. It is a ground switching switch designed only to turn the relay on and off (and light up). Install it as described in the diagram with a relay and it will work loverly.

heh.. you and me, both!

I've had the replacement bezel (thanks, Shane!) and foglight switch here for several months, and I keep making excuses for not doing it...

when I first got the parts, it was too cold outside to work comfortably.

..then it was too wet/rainy to work comfortably.

..now, it's too dang hot outside to work comfortably.

maybe in september or october, a friday or sunday afternoon will come along that's just perfect for the project! (can't do it on saturdays, because that's football time!)

So that diagram is to wire up some off road lights to your fog light switch using a relay? So every time you hit the fog light switch, the fog lights come on and so does the off road lights as well? And with the relay, it doesn't hurt the power supply? Thank you in advance

The switch turns on the relay. The relay turns on the lights.

Huh?
I'm saying I already have fog lights. If I want to get off road lights and another HID kit for them, can I be able to hook those up to a relay and connect it to the fog light switch so when I turn the fogs on, the off road lights come on. And as for that, will that drain the power supply (battery)?
