Dome light, Glove box light, Door ajar switches and 4wd switch problems???
I'm having electrical problems with my 1997 ford ranger. My Dome light, Door ajar switches, Glove box light, 4wd switch stops working soon as you crank up, but will start working soon as you turn it off? Can anyone please point me in the direction i need to go with locating this problem?

Maybe your cylinoid is going bad? Or a bad ground somewhere?

I'm thinking it's a ground problem but not sure. It's not gonna be fun tracing down this problem. Hoping that someone has had the same problem with their truck.. When you crank it up the lights will work for a couple seconds then you here a click under the dash as the lights stop working? About to pull my hair out with this issue lol..

UPDATE...... Figured out what it was so thought I'd share in case someone else runs into this problem. It was the ignition switch ...
