Default No overdrive light

I have a 2010 Ranger 4X4 with the 4.0 engine. My overdrive works properly, but I don't get a O/D light on the panel. When I push the O/D button on the shift lever, the transmission will downshift normally. So I know the button is working and the transmission is shifting into overdrive. I took the instrument cluster out and tried to replace the bulb, but there doesn't seem to be any way to take the cluster apart to get at a bulb. I can live with no O/D light because I can just watch the tach for a shift. But I would like to fix this. All other warning lights on the cluster seem to be working properly when the engine is first started. They all come on at engine start except the O/D light. It is never on even at engine start. There must be another reason for the light not to work. And ideas?
