There is no switch on the dome light . just a bulb under the plastic cover. When I open the passenger door, the light comes on. When i open the driver side door it does not. This is frustrating when I have to get something out of my truck late at night and cant see anything. Is there a sensor in the door or someting?

I have an 07 that does this too. But mine also doesn’t have the footwell light at all and the compass / temp / etc doesn’t work or light up??
