Default power to trailer harness from front of truck

1999 Ranger XLT:
Brake/Turn signals/running lights work on truck. Running lights/left turn signal work on trailer.
Right turn signal and brake lights DO NOT work on trailer. Crawled up under bed and disconnected trailer harness.
Tested each connection and found no power coming from the front of the truck to the trailer harness for the brake lights and right turn signal.
I use this trailer to do my work and I need all the trailer lights working properly, but, I just don't know what to do. I am not that inept at this kind of stuff, but, I'm willing to give it a try if someone is willing to give me a step by step to walk me through it.
