Forscan showed a B1302 and won't rewrite my GEM
I'm using the latest version of Forscan. I initially thought my GEM/CTM was bad because my seat belt alarm wasn't working and I've always had the B1302 code. I went to the salvage yard this weekend and got another driver's buckle from another 98 Ranger and installed on mine. Now the seat belt system works as it should. So I rescanned using Forscan and initially I got a bunch of GEM codes, like 4 or 5. I did the GEM component test and after it was successful I only had the B1302 accessory relay circuit code. I tried to rewrite the GEM As-Built option and first it stopped and said service interrupted. So I checked the parameters, it's got rear abs, 7.5 ring gear, and for the tire size it was undefined. So I chose 225/70/14 which is original. I tried to rewrite using those parameters. It said something about unit blocked. I saved the logs and it's in debug mode. I tried to send the logs to Forscan but following their instructions I don't see any files that say dump.bin or forscan.log. So they can't help. How do I have a B1302 code without power windows or locks? I know I replaced it once but I'm not even sure it was the right relay. It was under the glove box somewhere if that's correct. I didn't see any obvious wiring issues.
