What? Boost, force feed? Go to some place? Buy a blower for it if you can find one and you have the 4.0. Several thousand dollars later you are force feeding your Ranger boost, and it is still a 20+ year old truck not a sports car...

The only way an ECU can make "boost" is if you melted it down and cast it into an impeller. I guess if you searched hard enough you could find "some place" willing to do that for you...

I doubt if it's alcohol, sounds like excessive ingestion of THC.

I beg to differ. When I'm high my posts are usually long and rambling. When drunk they are short and confusing.

I have a cheap solution for more power, go to auto zone and buy a stick on hood scoop. That will force feed that ECU real good.

Add a performance chip, upgrade the exhaust (delete the CAT) and upgrade to a K&N air filter. Re-gearing the ring and pinion would be the best upgrade for power.

There is no such thing as a 'performance chip'. All they do is lighten your wallet. K&N filter is of debatable value. Re-gearing is changing your power band, to gain low you give up high.

Hard to do with a $10 budget.
