Default Projector headlights

Okay so I bought some projector halo headlights a long time ago. They’ve always been super dim with a yellow light in the middle of the halos. Because theyre dim, i bought some LED bulbs and went to plug them in but I noticed it doesnt have a bulb in the headlights, just wiring. Next thing is that one of the headlights has no light coming from the middle of the halo. Does anyone know how I fix that? Is there something I’m missing?

In short, you bought utter junk.

Out of box performance is absolute junk.

Miss-matched light source to optic is junk. Shoot even matched light source to optic is JUNK.

Should have googled "Ford ranger projector retrofit" and spent your money better elsewhere and FAR FAR FAR better performing product.

I bought them 8 years ago at 15 years old and got it on sale for $100 for headlight, turn signal, and rear tail lights. Therefore money wasn’t and still isn’t a problem hahaha I’ll just buy different ones thank you for the extended answer to my question. Next time give me a summary of your answer please lol

Found an example of your lights on ebay. The auction states they have an H1 bulb for the projector. I would not recommend a hid retrofit. It would do wonders for the light output. But you will have to cut up the back bulb cover to run the hid ballast wiring. Which will let all kinds of dirt in the housing. Almost all LED bulbs have a fan on them. They will not fit under that cap either. Ranger headlights are really cheap. I would recommend getting a new different style. But if you want to change the bulbs in your existing one. Remove the cap I have circled in the pic below.
