Bought a lightbar
So I bought a lightbar, the lightbar item description says it is a 432w lightbar but compatible with 12v to 24v vehicles . But the only light wiring harnesses i could find were 200w and under. Im posting pictures but am I missing something? Do I need to add an extra relay or something?

432w? 12v? Yeah, you are gonna need a relay. And 6 gauge wire because it will pull 36A. Sure sounds like something is off in their specs...

Yeah I agree, were you able to see the pictures? I got the wiring kit and it has a relay but I’ll check the gauge. I’ll post pictures of the two kits i bought. But do you think I’m able to use that 200watt wiring kit as long as it has the relay and 6gauge wire?

Here’s a picture of what the wiring kit comes with. A 30 amp fuse and a 40 amp relay with 16 gauge wire

Hahaha I think it’s cause it’s got a bunch of options. Idk wtf I need lol I’m wondering if I can get away with connecting it to this wiring kit. It’s good for up to 40 amps and I need 36 amp

Re: Bought a lightbar
Based on the amazing grammar and punctuation in the description I'm fairly certain whatever 6 year old chinese slave translated probably also messed up on the specs. 432 watts of LEDs would be rather insane, especially on a 17" light. I'd imagine the true specs should be printed directly on the light itself. But knowing the quality of some of the imported electronic trash on amazon who knows. You should just make the harness yourself, you'll end up needing to modify it anyway.

I have no doubt that’s what happened lol. But if I were to try to connect it to the wiring kit a posted above, what are the consequences? I know how to wire a normal light bar but the fact it’s saying an outragous amount of watts is making this a harder job.
