Brake light fuse keeps blowing out
So I'm in need of some help. I have an 1986 Ford ranger STX , it has tilt wheel and cruise control and all that crap. I have been trying to figure out why the brake light fuse keeps blowing out. I took the cover off the steering column today and found that there is some loosness somewhere between the wheel and the column. It's like the whole unit that everything plugs into right against the wheel is connected to the wheel fine, but there is a bit of wiggle/loosness for lack of a better word. I can put a new fuse in and press the brake pedal and the lights will work. Then just the slightest wiggle of the steering wheel while the pedal is depressed and the fuse blowes. I'm hoping someone had has a similar issue and can help out. Thanks in advance of any input and advice
