Default Power door installation

I'm about to jump neck deep into a major project.
I have a 98 2.5l Ranger that has no power options whatsoever.
I just bought a 98 2.5l Ranger that has power doors, factory tachometer, a step side bed and what looks like the connector for the cruise control module. It does not have cruise control.
I want to swap the bed, the doors, the dash cluster and whatever wiring necessary to get the power doors working and to possibly install factory cruise in the future. How much work am I looking at here?
Specifically how much of the engine compartment wiring harness will I have to dismantle and transplant to get the cruise going?

I’ve don’t this to a 2000 model and it’s a fun project. For a 98 you will have to swap the engine bay harness (from the 2 bulk head connector all the way around to the blower motor, including fuse box).

Also you will have to swap the dash harness as well as the cab harness because the LH door connector is part of the cab harness.

Good thing is you got a perfect year and engine match model.

Check under the dash for the brown 6 cavity connector and see how many wires you have there (need to make sure the dash harness is prewired for cruise). Should be like 4 or 5 for cruise and maybe 2 if not).

What's different about the fuse boxes that requires swapping them out, or is it that they are a so integrated into the wiring harnesses that it's easier to pull them with the harness?
