2002 2.3L Autiomatic. I am putting in a global cruise control and looking for the tach wire. While Rostra says it is pin #78 (pink/white) on the 104 pin connector, I have no #78. I found somewhere that somebody used #48 (tan/yellow) and made it work for installing a tachometer. Anybody got anything on this?

Yes, tach signal on the tan/yellow from PCM to instrument cluster. Pin 48 at the 104-pin or pin 2 of the 42-pin connector.

Thanks for the reply. I think they need to update their support. I will be calling Rostra tomorrow. I just noticed that the brake positive and negative colors are wrong also. This is why I hate universal-fits all equipment.
