Cruise Control: OEM or Aftermarket?
I am kind of confused on this one and I was hoping someone could shed a little light on this. I just bought a 2002 XLT, 2.3l automatic without cruise control and I would like to add it. It has A/C, but crank windows so it does not have the power group. Coming from the clock spring there is only 3 wires leading to the brown connector on the steering column. This is where it gets confusing, from that brown connector there is 6 wires leading I think to the fuse block. There is also the pressure switch on the master cylinder and it even has the updated fire harness on that switch. What I do not have is the 10 pin connector hanging on the inside of the fender by the blower motor. My question is, will it be a major undertaking to get that wiring from a salvage vehicle and link it in, or should I just give up and wimp out and go with a Rostra kit?
