I'm looking at possibly installing my own remote start. I have a wireless module with a fob. It has 2 outputs from the module. The put puts are not a momentary switch they are click on and stay on until clicked again. My truck is standard shift but I never leave it in gear. I have fooled around with relays, resistors, and diodes quiet a bit but I am no expert. I know that the truck will turn over my jumping contacts on the starter solenoid. But as far as getting the engine to run is another without the key. So I guess the big thing would be fuel pump and ignition. Also with my style switch my starter will not disengage once the truck is running. I haven't found much on this, might becacreason for that. Sounds more complicated after typing it all out. In my head it almost sounded like a pretty simple job. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
