I had already erased the keys before I replaced the transceiver... Does the transceiver and PCM have to come as a pair, or would I be able to use any PCM as long as the model number is the same? How much did you pay for your PCM?

It teases me programming one key.

Transceiver doesn't pair with anything. The pats module itself pairs with the PCM, but even if these get switched it should pair during key programming.

Oh. I see. They don’t come as a pair. I paid $127 for mine on eBay. Took about a week for it to be programmed and shipped to me.

SOLVED!!!!

I got a reply from the FORScan team. The answer solved the issue. Here it is: The second key that I have is a clone of the first one. It makes sense, it would be like trying to program 1 key twice.

I got a new key. ($12) programmed it first try.

Truck starts.

The FORScan software though,

Keep a look out though, there might be a new thread coming, about not getting enough power to start.

Thanks for y'alls help

@RudyRanger: I thought somewhere you stated you had two original keys. Maybe I dreamed it. Anyway, yes, if you get a spare key made at places like Home Depot, Ace Hardware, etc, they just clone the key you hand to them... that key isn't added to the truck as a unique key. Anyway, glad you got it sorted out!

SO they were able to see the ID's of each key in the logs? May want to suggest that they program a warning into the system when it detects the same key id.
