I want to tie in my clearance lights to my parking lights at the switch. The 7 wires at the switch are Tan/black stripe -- Tan/white stripe -- (2) red/yellow stripes - Lt. Blue/red stripe -- Dark blue/orange stripe - Black/no stripe.

Which one goes to the parking lights?? If I tie into that one, does the 2ed wire from my clearance lights, then just go the ground?? I checked several posts about the headlight switch, but the color codes were different than mine --- John

I don't know wire colors off the top of my head, but you can look at the schematics for your vehicle on bbbind.com >>> technical info and easily determine this.

Thanks for the help. I Remembered a trick I learned years ago. Put a straight pin through a wire and check for voltage with a meter, based on the switch position. All wired up and working. This is what I put together. There is a cover panel underneath, made from 1/4" PVC foam board to hide most of the rough fiberglass. A strip of wire-mold hides the wiring. --- John
