2003 Ford Ranger Edge 3.0 trying to wire my 3rd brake light on the Leer shell

I have searched for this elusive light green wire and the plug on my truck. No luck. Even dropped the spare tire and pulled the wires out of the loom. Not there. Checkef under the fuse box. Not there. Have searched thru alot of threads on here.

So, where do the wires for the 3rd brake light on the cab run? I do not want to wire it to a taillight and have it blinking when that turn signal is on.

This is what I found for my 2002 Ranger I hope yours is the same.


Connector location C421 vehicle rear end, center

It should be a round 8 wire connector I attached a screenshot that shows
511 the Light green wire. at pin 6

Another place I found it second picture Connector C340 pin 39 Vehicle floor, left front side.

Look on the other side of the plug like on the inside Ford likes to dead end wires at the junction
