Default 1999 Ranger XLT - locating wires for car alarm

Ordered a cheap car alarm (trucks been broken into recently) from amazon (DX370). It's a straight forward alarm and works really well. I installed it yesterday under the steering wheel. So far the main features work: doors opened while armed sets it off, ignition start while armed sets it off, and the shock sensor works really well. However i'm having problems with the parking lights and the automatic door locks. The parking lights should be a brown wire underneath the driver side kick panel, but i could not find it at all...there's literally a hundred wires bound there. The closest thing to solid brown i could find was more dark grey, and I cut it to see if it was the parking lights, but i luck. Lastly I only know what the door lock negative and door unlock negative wires are. Anyone with assistance on these 5 wires would be a hugeeeee help.
