Default Fuseable Link Blowing

As stated, the fuseable link from the starter solenoid to the alternator blew on me night before last going to work. Didn't know that's what it was, so I ended up replacing the alternator yesterday and that didn't fix it (obviously lol). Replaced the link with one off of my parts truck, and it ran fine for a minute after a jump, but then started to drop power and the link was extremely hot to the touch, so I shut it off. Anyone got an idea of what is causing it to blow? I've cleaned the studs on the starter solenoid (which is new), the terminals on the battery (new as of September), and the block strap, starter, and front clip ground locations. Electrical isn't my strong suit lol.

Default Re: Fuseable Link Blowing

Nevermind, I figured it out. Apparently my spare battery was bad, too.
