Question Funny Light Issue

Hey everyone, my 05' XL has a new funny problem I've noticed this morning. As I'm driving down my driveway, I hear a squealing belt, think nothing of it, it had just downpoured, haven't run the truck in a few days, and it's 5 in the morning. Normally, I would just dismiss the noise, but a few seconds later, every light in my truck dims about 25%, radio lights, dash cluster, headlights, and I pressume tails, markers, etc. Now I talked to a few people at school and they had good points. Some of the things that they said were about a bad ground, voltage regulator, battery, alternator, etc. I just wanted to get more opinions from a few more people. I'm going to a alternator test before I leave, my meter is dead so that'll have to wait.. but yea, I just want some more opinions of possible culprits, it's probably something super simple. I just want to fix it right. Thanks a lot to everyone in advance

i would check the tension on the best and make sure its not too loose. Maybe check the condition of the belt, cracks, wore down, etc...

So I did both a voltage test and battery test, my friend has one of those testers, you don't get exact numbers, but you get approximates from a range.. The battery tested poor, and the alternator tested fair with 11 volts
