Default Major Electrical FUBAR. Maybe ECM.

So, here's my issue. Driving along at 65-80, anywhere in there. 5th gear, go to give it some ass to pass and everything cuts out. Power, lights, radio, gauges. Its like disconnecting the battery and the alternator giving out all at the same time. Now, it's happened 4 times. Once, when I went to downshift to 4th it happened, but I'm leaning more towards something to do with throttle position. It seems like when I hit anywhere form 55-75% throttle it does it, but only on rare occasion.

To be fair, I cut my cat out, am missing my rear O2 sensor, throwing a clutch pedal position code, lean code, 2 egr codes, 2 air bag codes and she has 249,000 miles. I know this is sort of a shit in the dark, but I'm hoping someone knows something about this. This truck is all I've got for God knows how long.

Ideas, thoughts, questions, anything? I'm open to experimentation. Help me out guys.

When you mean power cuts out do you mean engine dies?

To me this sounds like you are having an issue from the battery/alternator to the main fuse box.

Trace the main battery cable to the side of the fuse box and see if the connections to the mega fuse are tight on both sides.
