Default need some electrical assistance. 2003 ford ranger super cab. FX4 Series II

Ok, Here is the deal.

I let my 3 year old play in the truck while I was checking the oil and cleaning the truck out.

At about 10 am I pulled him out and went to start it at about 1pm. my son turned on my lights and I never new it. I got the old dead battery sound. Ok so I jumpstart the car and let the battery put on a charge. I then realized I have no dome lamp, no radio, no whipers and my drivers side door lock doesn't work except to lock the door. It won't unlock at all. I have checked the fuses and they all seem ok. I checked the ones under the hood next to the firewall and I don't see any blown. Does any one know what this could be?

Well I got it fixed. I replaced the following fuses.

26, 28 and 28.

The moment I put in a fuse in 26 my dome light came back on. The funny thing is that I didn't have a fuse in 22 so I put one in there as well.

It doesn't look like the fuses blew but hey once I replaced them I got everything back so it had to be that. I am glad I had those fuses in the garage. My wife was pissed when I bought them 3 months ago and they just sat there. I told her I would need them at some point and hey I did. There is nothing open at 1am so I had them standing by. I did searching on this site and in one of the threads about whipers some one suguested replacing them all that controlled the whipers so I figured why not put the same thing to my problem and if anything I am out about 75 cents. That was the cheapest thing to do first. And it worked. I will stay on these forums for quite a while I can see.

Here's the reason why replacing the fuses worked.

The GEM Module got confused and stopped working, probably during the jump start. It is the timing module and controls things like courtesy lights, autodown window, wiper delay, etc. When you pulled #26, it powered down the the GEM completely which forced it to reset.

I promise Bob, you ae the man. Is there anything u don't know! I'm going to threadjack here. I was having truck problems, idling super bad and sputtering. I replaced the TPS and it runs good again.m I may be paranoid, but it seems like it idles a little lower (not much) than normal now. Or when I'm at idle and turn off the A/C, it seems to drop RPMs lower than it used to. Again, I just may be paranoid, any ideas bob
