Default starter solenoid

My 97 ranger 5spd acting up.. Changed this piece and the little 18 gauge wire (rd/lt blue) isn't getting no power.. Why is this happening?? I even put the test light on the CLUTCH PEDAL SWITCH WIRE and nothing.. I keep getting the click noise.. No crank, no start..

6 wires on CPP switch. Which ones did you check? Either the power feed side is Red/Light Blue or White/pink depending on if you have anti-theft or not. That wire get power when you turn the key to start?

Let me know which wire color you have.

When the clutch is pushed in the red light blue wire is bridged to the pink wire.

Fuse 24 (10A) in the dash gets power when the ignition switch is turned to the start position.

This is feed to the CPP via red /light blue, jumped to the pink wire with the clutch pedal pushed in, then onto a series of harness interconnects (dash to engine bay harness) were it changes back to a red light blue wire that connects to the solenoid.

Does fuse 24 have power when the key is turned? Do you get power at the red/light blue wire at the CPP with the key turned?
