dash lights
Has anyone had any problems with a short in the gage cluster lights? Mine only half of them work for the longest time if I smacked the dash really hard they would all light back up but now there are less than half that work any ideas before I start tearing the dash apart?

I texted Buggman, he makes some killer LED lights for the dash.

Buggman texted me back, he said $1.50 for each.
My 2007 cluster has 5 bulbs and my HVAC panel has 2.
Yours may be more or less since mine is a generation newer.

Are the LED's brighter or something? Got a pic of what they look like lit up?

I'm about to change all mine this weekend, airbag light blew and couple cluster bulbs, and contemplated going with LEDs. I just can't justify the cost on a 13 year old truck and not sure it would be a noticeable difference with the stock cluster. Just gonna do some Sylvania Long Life

Re: dash lights
My cost was justified..it was less than $5 shipped for 10x 5 smd LED bulbs

They're only $1.50 each, and if you have to replace them anyways, why not with some long-lasting brighter lights?
There's a pic in the "what did you do today" thread.
But the pictures probably don't do justice on what they actually can do.

Not sure I'd put much faith in something like that quality wise.

Not sure about brightness but the Long Life bulbs were rated 4x longer life than the LED that I looked at.

The ones I'm getting are coming from a member on here, a lot of FRF users have his accessories and he makes good quality stuff.
Still cheap.

Well he sells them for $1.50 each. And you need 5 for the cluster.
That's only $8
