What do you use the power inverter for?

That will work, where are you mounting it?
I got my new switch panel mounted and started building my new console.

That's a useful tool to have. I may install one after I get my current project completed. Gonna take a while due to low income, but it's getting done.

Nice center console! I'll eventually build one as well to fit a CB Radio, small center compartment and two cup-holders. I'm not enjoying the $10 plastic cup-holders/CD holder obstructing my bench seat.
Mounted under my soon-to-be radio and vent controls and to have enough room so my hand doesn't strike the panel. It locks into place with a steel bracket that clips over the ash-tray bracket; just remove the ash-tray and lift the tab and I put a hinge on it so the switches are easily accessible. No power to the panel yet. Black wire is the ground. Waiting for the two fuse blocks to be delivered. Going to mount those behind the glove-box, which I got the idea from a member here Futurefd.

Re: Rocker switch panel wiring...
Finally installed everything. Only room I had was directly to the back of the glove box. 8 gauge power from the battery to a 100amp circuit breaker to a 100amp fuse block. Have my panel switches piggy-backing off one another with a 15a fuse and the map light with a 5a fuse.
I'll be installing the cargo lights and relay next weekend and hook them up to the switch panel.
At this point this should be in the "Project Log" section, but I'll keep it here.

Isn't 8 gauge wire a little thin for 100 amp circuit?

For the short distance from the battery to the circuit breaker and the fuse block being a little over 4'; the 8 gauge wire can easily manage 100 amps at that length according to the chart I'm using below.

Perhaps I should have used a 4 gauge, but I'm not planning on running any high amp/watt accessories. If I do I can simply swap out the wires.
Thanks for asking.

Re: Rocker switch panel wiring...
Made a new panel. 1/4" longer than the first one so there is more space behind the switches for the push-on terminals. Now there's plenty of room.

Re: Rocker switch panel wiring...
Wired in the custom cargo lights to the panel. Working as planned. Ran power from fuse block to relay then grounded relay and added the accessory power from the relay to the switch and then ran the wire from the relay through the firewall on the driver side and followed the existing wires along the bottom frame to the back, up through the bed wall behind the tail-light and up to the lights in the canopy.
