Should kick myself in the nuts lol
Okay, So About 2 weeks ago, my battery light came on, and the gauge went down. I didn't and still don't have money to fix it, so thanks to ranger01, I got a working alternator for $20.00 today in the mail....We (me and my pap) put the alternator in, and still the same problem..alright, so I thought ranger01 ripped me....until my pap agreed to buy me a new one and I would have to pay him back over the next couple weeks. We put the new alternator in, and.....same problem..battery light on, gauge down. Now I drove my ranger for a week, just charging the battery every night...turns out, it was a 50 cent fuse in the fuse box under the hood. So, we talked to the auto parts store guy that we bought the new alternator off (been a friend of my pap for years and taught my pap everything he knows about fixing cars) and he agreed to take it back. So I put the alternator I got off ranger01 in and a new fuse and now it works perfectly...only question is...why did that fuse blow?
