Re: Can't find Blinker Relay HELP
No, I haven't... and that's a myth, anyway. There's nothing wrong with the old-style fluid, either... you can use it for 100,000 flashes, or for 1,000,000 flashes (like the synthetic stuff).
I did, however, upgrade the blinker fluid pump and blinker fluid reservoir to units pulled from a Lincoln Continental in the boneyard -- much more efficient pump, and significantly larger reservoir, so the blinking is much, much smoother, and without the random syncopation that is often seen in the blink rate of vehicles with lesser quality pumps (and/or low-viscosity blinker fluid). This is one "driveway mod" that's definitely worth the time/trouble!! I don't remember the exact Ford part numbers off the top of my head, but you can just ask at the Service/Parts counter at the Ford dealership for the appropriate part numbers -- make sure you specify that they should be looking for the Lincoln part numbers, though!! (...because all of the Ford/Mercury parts for this subsystem are the same on all Ford/Mercury vehicles).
