Exclamation Third Brake Light- Help

Hi all. I am looking to purchase a LED third brake light. It has of course a brake light, then it has reverse lights as well in it. My stock only has a brake light. My question for you is, if I get it and hook it up to my stock connector, will the reverse light on the new brake light work when I place it in reverse? I would very much appreciate the help as I would love to buy the item. So nice =P. Thanks for your time, take care.

You would need to run separate wires. And as far as I know, the clear lights are not reverse lights, they are bed lights that turn on when you open the doors.

Running the wires would be some work. I just want a simple plug and play type thing. And it says reverse. Even when I open my doors, it doesn't turn white or anything. I have a straight red stock third light. I want LED brake and reverse. I'll give you the link.

I may be blind lol, but I don't see where it says reverse.

Because your truck is not currently wired for that.

It would work, if you wired it up to the reverse lights. I personally think that the cargo light option is cooler, and a lot easier to wire. Your dome light is right there, ya know?

Exacly. Those are cargo lights not reverse lights.
