I have a 2000 xlt 4x4 4.0 was auto changed to manual need to change over the pcm to keep codes off from auto missing. I hope to find out Info about the non security with manual transmission
What to look for, type, years, model to choose from things like that

Dont fix it unless it's broken or you really bored

Default Re: pcm interchange information

You'll need to find a 4.0 4x4 with manual trans close to 2000. Also i noticed in my research that wiring varies some trucks had a connector at the back of the block for trans components and you can simply unplug the auto portion and plug in the manual portion. My truck did not have any of this as my year was the freak year that the flex fuel version was not offered with manual so i was stuck with auto PCM to prevent wiring issues. Im running an auto PCM that Fred at rogue turned off the auto sensors and it works fine aside from the neutral rev limiter I'm in the process of removing. Also if you keep the stock PCM it will make life easier if it ever has to be emissions tested since they now check the cars PCM for a matching VIN.
