Default 1973 Head Lights

I have a 1973 Ranger f100 that I am beginning to restore. The first big problem is that the head light will not stay on. They will turn on but after a few minutes of driving they will turn off and then back on again. Any suggestions on where to start with this problem.

check ur wiring and relays, 10 to 1 thats the problem. corroded or dry rotted wire is a common problem with those trucks.
