Auxiliary Power Outlet down, fuse is good
a few weeks ago I plugged in a video camera car charger and connected my mp3 player to it; wow, in a millisecond the mp3 player was blown - I did not know (!) at the time how different some chargers are w/regard to amps. ok, well, the store replaced the player so that was all good.
NOW, however, since then, my regular charger stopped working and then I bought another one and the clerk suggested I check my fuses if it doesn't work. Well, that's what I did today - even tho it looked fine, I swapped it out with the wiper fuse (also a 20A) and unfortunately, that was not the problem.
So now, what could it be? I've been googling around and can't really see anyone with a similar problem. Did I blow the outlet? but isn't that what a fuse is supposed to be for? to protect from that even happening?
suggestions? should I try and replace the outlet (hope that's not a big deal) and see if that works?
2003 Ford Ranger Edge, 6 cyl 3 L btw. Thanks !
