do you know if the keypad can be taken apart in 2 sections? I'm thinking I want to mount it a little more flush then the pictures....

Yeah I agree, the keypads look too bulky for my taste. But with a wireless keypad you can mount it basically anywhere, so you can mount it someplace out of sight.

I'm not sure exactly what you're asking, but here is a picture of how it's assembled:



It comes with two covers, one that can be painted, and one that is just a solid black.

oh ok.... I was thinking the back piece could be removed and a hole cut in the door so just the cover/keys are showing. In my mind (lol, I think that's the problem) I was thinking you could mount it so only half of the unit is actually showing. Does that make sense?
