Default help on complete wiring harness

Hi I'm new here and I have a 1991 ranger 2wd that had the 2.3 in it originally but I'm going with a 302 swap. Here's the issue, the guy who had it before did a total hack job on the wiring harness and I have no idea what to do with any of it. I'm doing a carburetor application so all I need is power for headlights turning lights etc... he even wacked the fuse box out of it..... Any kind of help to where I should st art would be very helpful. Thx

Fuse box it should have panel tells you where everything goes get power to it then run power to fuel pump head lights we'll switch then lights then whatever else you need just rewire it to the basics you need but don't just use electrical tape use the crimps clamps for wiring so it don't bust into flames if you can't figure it out buy a chiton book it will walk you threw it step by step
