Default Windshield Wiper Fluid Squirts Only Occasionally

Hi Guys, just picked up a 2002 Ranger XL auto with 4.0L, great truck so far. I noticed the windshield wiper fluid only comes out once every 10-15 tries when I press the button on the stalk.

The fluid tank is full. Could the issue be the pump or the multi-switch/stalk itself? Any insight is appreciated, thanks!

you have to fully press the switch and hold it for it to come out, not just tap it

Check the fuse inside the cab. Mine was doing this too and I needed to replace the fuse. Has been working great since then.

I have this same damn problem...

Fuse where? on the left side of the door on the driver side?

Do you know which fuse to look for via a number?

Thanks,
-Nigel

Unlike most, I use the search feature... therefor I find topics that are related to my problem...lol

thus finding a thread that the op has is my exact problem I am currently having...
