Default Led blinker issues 1994!

i put led blinkers in my 94 ranger, and sure enough, they stick on, i had already known they were going to do this, so i went and purchased a ep-27 flasher relay, and i dont know where to plug it in, i found a relay in the fuse panel under the dash, but thats only a 2 prong relay, not the 6 prong that everybody talks about. so if someone knows what part to get or where to possibly plug this 5 prong relay into, please let me know! thanks!

Haha thats badass! but i think shes just fine since i just got new bulbs. haha. i need to figure out what the mod is to get the blinkers to work, also, i forgot to mention, the emergency flashers work just fine, just the blinkers dont automatically blink.

The pre-95 trucks use a different flasher relay than the newer trucks.

I forget the part# for the older flasher relay, but I remember someone had the same issue... hopefully he'll chime in here with that part #.

well would the part number just be the OEM style flasher relay? i did some research and people are saying it is just under the steering column, under the plastic covers. they say it was on a 94, and ive been going crazy tearing apart the inside of my truck looking for this stupid thing, then i came to realize that maybe my truck didnt have this "blue relay" that everybody was posting about. haha

Default SOLVED Re: Led blinker issues 1994!

Found out the part, just go to your local autoparts store, mine being o'reilly's, i went there and asked for a 2 prong blinker relay, and sure enough, it was an aftermarket one that is electronically controlled and not on a timer? or something weird like that, anyways, if anyone has any questions, feel free to pm me or whatever!
thanks for the responds!
