Another weird starting problem!
My 1997 2.3L 5spd won't start.  It seems weird to me since i'm not an expert on this kind of stuff. So a couple days ago it wouldn't start. It made a single clicking sound but all the accessories were working. I jumped it and it started up fine so I let it run for ~30 min to charge up the battery and then took it out for a ride. Got back home and turned it off. Tried starting it again and it made a click and didn't start. A week later after our vacation, I charged it overnight with a charger and the next morning it didn't start. I then tried to jump it, and replace the battery with a working one, with no luck. Finally, I tried jumping the solenoid with no luck. It didn't even spark. BUT, I connected the solenoid with jumpers to the two bolts, thinking maybe the screwdriver was the problem(idk) and as I was walking around to start it, the truck tried to start itself(belt was turning) for like 1 second, then died. BTW, I checked all the fuses, were all good. I have no clue, maybe you guys can help? Thanks

Starter solenoid on the driver fender is bad. Get a new one. Autozone like $20.

Thanks for the advice. Was heading out to get a solenoid, then hit the starter a couple times with a hammer. Started right up.
