Default Does Anyone know??

I have a ford ranger and just put new heads on it. The truck ran a month ago but the battery has been disconnected on it. I have replaced the head and now Im not getting any fire or fuel. Have done all the normal checks. Theft light blinks rapidly then slows to 1 blink then followed by 6 blinks. At wits end here any suggestions??

Default Re: Does Anyone know??

Ok I found the problem and wanted to tell everyone if they come across this in the future. It was call the PCM fuse. I towed it to the ford dealership this fuse was blown so they replaced and had to reprogram the keys back to the computer. But listen to this....they said I needed new heads and possibly a new motor because it would not crank and compresson was low on 1,2 & 3.....LOL told them to stick it. Towed the truck back home and they had wires in the wrong place from screwing around with it, changed the wires and she fired right up. Since the truck had sat for awhile I let it run tweeked a few things and let the compression built up and now purring like a kitten. Did my own compression test no where near what they were saying. Beware of those so called mechanics at Ford!
