J4CPO

Its a 12 wire harness.

Colors.... as i have been told

Where would I find a wire diagram for it?

Thanks in advance

Dave

I have determined that most mechanical / electrical challanges are directly connected to the nut that connects the steering wheel to the drivers seat.

I have a guess, but I wanted to see what the experts say first. (my guesses have been more wrong thatn right lately)

The part number comes right off the sticker on the harness.

oh boy...

is it just a random bundle of wires? or is there a connector attached to the end of it? Location please?

Is this some sort of contest or game to keep us with electrical schematic books on our toes??? LOL.

Without knowing the possible use for it then it will be kinda hard

Can you at least post up a picture?

12 pin male connector. top right of steering wheel behind dashboard. Wires are buttspliced into the harness in several locations, but I would have to undo / untape the entire harness and dash to trace each wire. Remember, most of this truck is (Red stranded wire from someones previuos wire work)

I was thinking that it is one of those light, mirror, OHC, visor connections, but its 12 wire and I have been unable to track Ford part number. The truck does not have lighted visor, power mirror or OHC installed so I am most likley incorrect in my guess.

I figure if I could located the part number, cross referance it and get some sort of diagram. If I can do that, I figure I may be able to figure out what it may do.

thanks in advance

Dave

From the colors I would guess a door harness and probably the passengers side...the drivers side has additional wires I think...
