Default Need Specific Electrical Diagrams? (Click Here!)

I've suggested a few times to other members with electrical problems, to check out the Auto Zone website.http://www.autozone.com/autozone/hom...p?cmpid=Google You simply click on "my vehicles", and fill it out. Then, there is a header, "Repair help", then, "Repair guides", then "Wiring diagrams. There is more than just wiring diagrams, but it appears there are quite a few that have electrical problems, and have no clue where to start. With the diagrams available, likely a more informative problem solving could be had.

x2

This is a great resource for almost every year Ranger - All sorts of information.
  • step-by-step instructions.
  • torque sequences & specifications
  • detailed photographs and drawings.
  • wiring diagrams.
  • specification charts.
  • repair tips.
Better yet - it's all free.

Most of this information is the actual scanned pages out of the official factory repair guides from Ford - not some generic Chiltons and/or Haynes manual.

Here is some sample information:

These can all be enlarged on their site - However, something goes 'strange' when I try to post a .GIF image here:

I vote this the most valuable tool I've never heard of before. I think I will be using it a lot in the future.

Any chance this could get stuck in a more visible location? My normal searching and browsing would not have led me here, I just got lucky.

Depending on your settings in your CP, you probably just subscribed to it.

I found this to be worthless. perhaps it was good when this was originally posted, but I am not one to wade through 7 years of other vehicles after going through their registration process (AKA Spambot fodder) to find the vehicle I was looking for after already stating what vehicle I was information on.

Tom should go ahead and delete this entire thread.
At the very least, try it himself.

The site still works for me - It's still a valid & working link.

Might not be the easiest way for some to get the information - but we didn't' design that site. They have the information - so people have to play by their rules! haha

The info is still there & valid.

If our members here have information about another free site with this information - I encourage them to make a new thread about it as I'm sure the group would find it useful as well.

Here is a little more specific instructions.

Go to www.bbbind.com .

Select TSB Database, then Wiring Diagrams. Enter your truck info. From there you can choose what Category you need. It's all there, including wire colors to help you trace problems.

This site is my hero!
