Re: Eletrical problem
Hard to tell from your brief description exactly what you have done. Check to see that you don't have a direct short to ground from the battery or the starter, and that you don't have any hidden lights (like the one in the glove box) staying on.
Does the battery go flat with the truck shut down? Are you getting any low voltage or alternator fail indications?

Re: Eletrical problem
no hidden lights on not grounding to the starter kills the battery when the truck is just sitting not running, everything in the truck works, all lights radio, the only thing that just stopped working is the heater, if u hit the right bump it comes on and off so im guessing it grounding out

Re: Eletrical problem
I would start by checking all the wiring for the heater, it sounds like you have a problem there. The other thing I would test is your battery. Have someone load test it. This is not a voltage check, although that is part of the test. It will put an electrical load on your battery and see how well it is working. It might be you have a battery that has gone bad as well. If your alternator was out your truck would run rough. As well as you'd notice an exceptional crappiness to your other electrical functions, like your radio sounding horrible.

Re: Eletrical problem
Lol throw a tarp over the cab and hood, I live in Washington, well part time when I'm not here in Montana, it rains 185 days a year. It's part of life.
