Default Axle strong enough for 35 inch tires?

how strong is the front axle in my 94 ranger can i run 35 tires

You can run 35's that I've seen. You're going to probably wear the bushings out faster though, might want to replace those while your at it. Shane (FX4wannabe) could probably answer this far better than me though

A lot of Ranger owners run 35" tires, I would say that 35" is nearing the maximum threshold of what the Ranger can handle, so you should be fine unless you plan on beating on it offroad.

Depends on how hard you are on your truck. I ran mine with 35s and a locker up front on my 03 with no problems, but the older rangers like yours are stronger than mine. If you really beat on it though, you'll have problems. If not, you'll be fine.

my dad runs 35's on his 03 ranger and doesnt seem to have any issues but definately recomend lower gearing

thanks guys i have another question what can i do to get more power out of my 3.0 motor i have a cold air intake .
